I have been working as a qualified translator for more than 20 years and I love my job. After graduating from the Université Catholique de l’Ouest with a Legal and Economics Translation degree, I got my first professional experience in a London translation agency where I worked for a year and a half. I then returned to France and trained as an interpreter before working as a translator-interpreter in the construction sector.

With my university and initial work experience, in a highly technical area, under my belt I set up as a freelance translator in 2000. During my first years as a freelance translator, I developed my technical translation skills (construction, automobile, and industrial machinery, etc.) and legal and commercial translations.

I have always been fascinated by Scandinavia and took up learning Swedish in 2001. I have been professionally translating from French into Swedish since 2012. For me, being able to offer high-quality services goes together with continuing education, a vital investment in the current ever-changing professional environment. I strive to constantly improve my services and for the past few years have been concentrating on my copywriting skills, for premium editorial translations, and my expertise in the legal sector. In 2017 I started an 18-month long legal English translation course to further develop my knowledge of English law (common law).

Today I mainly translate legal documents and communications materials for businesses. My flair for creative translation means that I also work on projects which call on my copywriting skills for the publishing and communications sectors.
